Mitchell Gibbs is a UK based multi-nominated composer for film, television and video games.
Recent work of note includes scores for Jack De La Mare’s dark psychological thriller; “Family Portrait”, long-term collaborator, T.A. Ransom’s quirky comedy; “Me & My Brian”, hitting festivals in the New Year, Michael Dragnea’s horrifying sci-fi action debut; “Carbon Copy”, alongside Connor Williams’ teen drama; “The Spoilers”.
Mitchell aims to push his compositional boundaries and be consistently challenged in the projects he works on. From the Black Death infested world of “Dead Crusade” to the war-torn universe of “Orbis Aerden: Path of War”.
Mitchell’s heritage was in the heart of the Canterbury sound, being influenced by progressive rock, classical music, avant-garde and jazz bands in Canterbury’s live music scene. It was these influences that drove Mitchell to pick up the guitar and pursue music composition at university.
Mitchell works from his home studio in Kent, England.

“Mitchell is a talented and eager film composer with what feels like years of experience behind him. He truly understood the project and completely took on board suggestions. His turnaround was incredibly fast which – in some situations – is really helpful. I would without a doubt, recommend Mitchell Gibbs and would happily work with him again.”
Jack De La Mare, Director and owner of DLM Productions.
“Mr. Gibbs is a very competent and creative professional who was able to design and create exceptional music with minimal direction from myself and creative departments………. an excellent choice for creative custom music, and I look forward to working with him again on my next project.”
Michael Dragnea, producer and principle of Dragonborn Films.
